The first book in the Evolved Trilogy is “Altered – Revelations of the Evolved”.

After a series of seemingly random events, sixteen year old Lacey Bennett is sent to Clear Waters – a youth rehabilitation center. There she meets a mysterious stranger named Taylor Dalton who claims to have traveled back in time to enlist her help with saving the world from a grim future. Taylor shows Lacey how to tap into her psychic abilities known in the future as “evolved” humans. He also teaches her life lessons required to stay ahead of the dark entities who will try to stop her from succeeding at every turn.

The second book of The Evolved Trilogy is Broken – Afflictions of the Evolved.

Lacey and Taylor continue with their mission to prevent nuclear war in the future. The dark spirits are still tracking them and one of their own is arrested for a crime they didn’t commit. Or did they? Lacey must follow her instincts and hope she makes the right decision.

Choices – Afflictions of the Evolved has been started. Darn full time job getting in the way of progress…… :)

Looking good, Shawnda. I’ll give you a plug on my book blog. Is it listed with Amazon or Goodreads, yet? If not, send me a cover image.

    Good luck.

It’s not listed yet. I will have the cover image that I will be using by end of this week (hopefully)! I have added your link to my page. I will keep you posted.

      And thanks!

    Hi Shawnda,
I was wondering if you have a copy of this book you would like me to review on my blog? I currently run a mommy blog that does reviews as well. I have recently been requested by Chicken soup for the Soul program to perform reviews for them. Please feel free to check out my blog and let me know what you think. I saw you posted this on a friend of mine’s wall on facebook. Thank you!

When is the second book in the Altered trilogy coming out? All the comments I’m seeing are from January 2012. I just finished the first book and am excited to start the next!

      Hi Peggy,

Thank you for reading Altered – Revelations of the Evolved. Book two (Broken – Afflictions of the Evolved) is finished but I am going through it a few more times before sending it off to the editor. As I don’t know how much traffic my blog gets, I post most comments to my Shawnda Currie Books facebook page: http://www.facebook.com/pages/Shawnda-Currie-Books/357335524296184

I’m also on twitter and Goodreads.

I would just like to say that your books are fantastic. I have read both books now and am very much eager to have the next. I probably should have waited to read them until all were done as when I start reading something I don’t want to stop. Kudos to you, job well done.
